Commissioned by I Wonder Pictures, I created the official alternative poster for Emilie Blichfeldt’s The Ugly Stepsister. This project is deeply personal; it explores the 'imperfect body' and the relentless internal drive to 'do better'—themes central to my own artistic journey. To capture this, I synthesized the visceral, grotesque body art of Shintaro Kago with the delicate, organic compositions of Alphonse Mucha. The result is a 'grotesque elegance' that speaks to the experience of many women: the pursuit of beauty through pain and the quiet torture of self-optimization.
It is a visual exploration of hating oneself while striving for an impossible goal.
